Shopping centre Hoogvliet in Rotterdam has a very diverse offering: a total of around 100 shops from large chains and smaller, local retailers, various catering establishments, a library and a city shop. The shopping centre of about 30,000 m² is largely built around the square ‘de Binnenban’. Numerous events are organised in and next to Hoogvliet. These make the area even livelier and the shopping centre attractive to young and old alike.
In addition to the range of shops on offer, Kroonenberg Group is constantly looking for further opportunities to optimise Hoogvliet Shopping Centre. In recent years, for example, a total of 47 flats were realised at various locations in the centre in former retail spaces on the first floor. This brings the total number of residential units in Hoogvliet to some 248. These flats are ideally located close to arterial roads, public transport and, of course, shops and restaurants.
