SEVERAL RETAIL UNITS LEASED AT GELDERLANDPLEIN

Kroonenberg Groep has agreed new leases with several tenants at the Gelderlandplein shopping centre.

The former Rivièra Maison and KPN units have been combined and reconfigured, creating two new retail spaces. Playhood will move into one of them, with a 65 m² reception area on the ground floor and 550 m² on the first floor. Playhood is a small-scale indoor play space where role play and imagination for young children take centre stage, offering children and adults a fun, creative and educational play experience. The lease starts on 1 November and Playhood will open in early 2027.

Ton Overmars will move into the unit next to Playhood, opposite Jumbo. The retailer is already a tenant at Gelderlandplein and is moving to this 200 m² unit to expand its already wide range further. The lease starts on 1 October and the shop will open in mid-November.

The former Ecco and La Valise units have also recently been combined, and Pipoos will open there. Pipoos has signed a multi-year lease for 290 m² across the ground floor and basement. Pipoos is the largest chain of hobby and craft supplies stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. The lease started on 1 September and the shop will open soon.
