Kroonenberg Group has reached an agreement with The Sting BV for a long-term lease involving a flagship store in the Kalverpassage in Amsterdam. The leased property consists of a retail space of approx. 3300 m² divided between the ground floor and basement. The lease will go into effect on 1 September 2019.

THE STING has grown considerably since it opened its first store in 1982 and now has retail locations in large and small cities in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. THE STING targets both male and female consumers by promoting its own labels such as Bien Bleu, Anti Blue, Distrikt Nørrebro and Cotton Club. The new flagship store in the centre of Amsterdam will have escalators to access both floors and will have entrances on Kalverstraat and in the Kalverpassage. After a short installation period, the store is expected to open in mid-December.

In addition to the flagship store operated by THE STING, Costes has also leased a retail unit in the Kalverpassage. Since this transaction was made, only one unit in the Kalverpassage is left available for lease: a retail space providing approx. 75 m² with an entrance on Heiligeweg. This space is currently occupied by a pop-up store featuring items based on the public art installation 'Triangular Grid' by artist Sigrid Calon.

This transaction was arranged by KroesePaternotte.
