MR CRAB LEASES PROPERTY IN GELDERLANDPLEIN
Kroonenberg Groep has reached an agreement with Mr Crab for a long-term lease in Gelderlandplein in Amsterdam. The lease involves a location providing around 185 m² of retail space distributed over the ground floor and the basement and is situated in the shopping centre’s entrance area on Willem van Weldammelaan. Mr Crab will have an entrance inside the shopping centre as well as an entrance on Willem van Weldammelaan where an outside seating area there.
This is Mr Crab’s third location in Amsterdam with the other two being in the centre of the city. Mr Crab is actually named after Mr Crab, a chef who worked for years as captain of an international fishing vessel where he began cooking for its crew. It was something he wanted to continue once he went ashore. Holding onto the name of ‘Mr Crab’, he opened his own business and applied his years of experience as well as his know-how and passion for cooking to preparing the most delicious and healthiest seafood.
The lease became effective on 03 January 2019. Mr Crab is expected to open this location in April.
Kroonenberg Groep was advised in this transaction by Colliers International and Mr Crab by Eisenmann & Ravestijn Advocaten.
