IJscuypje, Kong Fu Cha and Vitaminstore have signed long-term lease agreements with Kroonenberg Groep for space in Westmarket, a shopping centre located in Amsterdam Centrum Nieuw-West. The arrival of these new tenants means that all spaces in Westmarket have now been leased.

Westmarket is a successful concept and it’s the perfect place for international dining and indoor shopping in Amsterdam Centrum Nieuw-West. The first phase of its redevelopment was completed in October 2016. The shopping centre’s 1300 m² accommodates a food court offering cuisines from all over the world. A number of smaller retail units are being leased by businesses that used to be located in the former Shoperade, and also by new concepts.

IJscuypje opened on the food court side. After its start on Albert Cuypmarkt serving home-made artisan ice cream and sorbet, IJscuypje became well known in Amsterdam.

Kong Fu Cha is also located in the food court. They are introducing the traditional Chinese Kong Fu tea ceremony with a milk tea twist to Westmarket.

Vitaminstore offers high quality health, sports-related and personal care products. Its fresh look, expert advice, great service and affordable prices make Vitaminstore the health store for young and old alike.

The second phase of the redevelopment is almost complete. During this phase, a retail space providing approx. 2,200 m² was realised for TK Maxx which is currently fitting out its store for the official opening on 2 May. Just a few days later, on 6 May, the total realisation of the redevelopment of Westmarket will be celebrated in style.
