Kroonenberg Groep has reached an agreement with Costes for a long-term lease in the Gelderlandplein shopping centre. Costes will lease the retail space being thoroughly renovated by Kroonenberg Groep. The former locations accommodating La Place and BelCompany that provided a total floor space of approx. 460 m² have been enlarged to approx. 1,500 m². One of the ways this was accomplished was by creating an additional floor above the existing retail spaces. The Sting's new retail space is sited at a central location in the shopping centre, next to Rick Moorman and across from Sissy Boy, Zwartjes, Hema and Bröring.

The Sting is part of The Sting House of Brands, an international fashion retailer. The Sting sells trendy women's and men's labels, all available exclusively from the 60 The Sting retail locations in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, England (London) as well as online at its webshop. The shop in the Gelderlandplein shopping centre will open during the third quarter of 2017.

Costes was created as one of the labels of The Sting. With a small team and a first store at the Oude Gracht in Utrecht in 2013 Costes had the liberty to create a completely new concept. Soon more stores followed throughout the Netherlands. Costes responds to the ever-growing group of consumers who value quality and service.

The arrival of Costes is another step being taken to perfect the redevelopment of Gelderlandplein, which was awarded the NRW Annual Award for 2016. Holland & Barrett, Maestro Men’s Dresscode and Bles Concept also recently opened their doors at this shopping centre. In addition, two former retail spaces are currently being combined in preparation for the arrival of Van den Assem Schoenen.

KroesePaternotte and Cushman & Wakefield are advising Kroonenberg Groep with regard to the leasing of property in the Gelderlandplein shopping centre.
