Jones Day leases Concertgebouwplein 20
The international law firm of Jones Day has signed a long-term lease with Kroonenberg Groep for the building at Concertgebouwplein 20 in Amsterdam. Jones Day will be leasing the entire building that provides a total floor space of approx. 2,300m². Jones Day is one of the world’s largest law firms and has 42 branches worldwide.
This building, which was completed in 1914, was acquired by Kroonenberg Groep in 2012. Since the purchase, the former office building occupied by Van Lanschot Bankiers has undergone an extensive renovation according to a design by Architectenbureau Rijnboutt B.V. The historic character of the building’s exterior has been retained while the interior of the office building has been luxuriously finished and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Jones Day has had an office in Amsterdam since 2013, but has experienced rapid growth. To accommodate continued growth, the building at Concertgebouwplein 20 was selected and satisfies all the requirements and preferences that Jones Day posed for its office location.
CBRE, DTZ Zadelhoff and NL Real Estate were in charge of leasing Concertgebouwplein 20. Van Gool Elburg Vastgoedspecialisten advised the tenant, Jones Day, in this transaction.
