Kroonenberg Groep acquires Kalvertoren
Kroonenberg Groep and Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management have reached an agreement regarding the acquisition of the Kalvertoren for an amount of € 117.5 million. The shopping centre with main entrance at the Kalverstraat has 13,000 sq m commercial area and 130 parking spaces. The shopping centre is designed by Pi de Bruijn of Cie architects and developed by Multi Vastgoed in the nineties.
There are 22 retail shops and 2 restaurants. Kroonenberg Groep purchased the Kalvertor-en in its ambition to acquire large retail areas at the main shopping locations in the Neth-erlands. Kroonenberg Groep has strengthened its position in the city centre of Amsterdam with this acquisition.
