Kroonenberg Groep leases retail space to Bennetton at Groot Gelderlandplein
Benetton has entered into a lease with Kroonenberg Groep for a retail unit measuring 347 m2 at the Groot Gelderlandplein shopping centre in Amsterdam-Buitenveldert. The floor space is divided into 177 m2 on the ground floor and 170 m2 in te basement. Earlier was announced that La Place and Esprit are new tenants.
Recently shop owners called the shopping centre the safest shopping area in Amsterdam, as figures from the Amsterdam Survey and Statistics Bureau show.
Since the beginning of 2008, Kroonenberg Groep has been the owner of the shopping centre thanks to the acquisition of the retail portfolio from the Philips Pension Fund.
Cushman & Wakefield represented Kroonenberg Groep for the lease concluded with Benetton, which was represented by Kroese & Paternotte. Cushman & Wakefield was also involved in the retail unit leases concluded with La Place and Esprit.
