La Place signs lease for space at shopping centre Groot Gelderlandplein
La Place has leased 435 square meters of space at shopping centre Groot Gelderlandplein.
Work on the La Place Marché du Monde restaurant has already started. The restaurant is expected to open to the public in late May 2008.
La Place has currently 77 locations in the Netherlands.
The restaurant will be located in a space previously occupied by another hospitality business. The new restaurant will also include the adjoining indoor patio.
Kroonenberg Groep acquired the shopping centre in early 2008 as part of the Philips Pensiun Fund retail portfolio. The property is in line with the group's ambition to acquire major retail positions in leading shop areas in the Netherlands and thus secure the group's long-term quality growth.
